We offer need-based grants to individuals up to $5000 to help pursue biomedical interventions for children affected with Autism and related disorders.

Letter from a grant recipient:

“I frequently think about the day I got the call from the AMRIT foundation to inform me we’d gotten the grant and the amount of it.  I was so happy, I cried, I wanted to throw open the windows and scream out.  It felt like hitting the lotto, but better because it meant we could get something so much more precious than anything you could buy.  We got to get back OUR CHILD.  Relatively speaking, that to me is a small amount to recover a child and restore a family.  When I say relatively, I mean it’s so hard for me to believe that is the cost of his life, or rather, his coming back to life.  In my eyes there is no price too high, to think it’s just that, what amounts to the price of a mediocre car or what some people spend in lattes a year.   Well, I would be willing to pay that for anyone’s child to recover a thousand times over.  The right money, for the right treatments at the time in my son’s life will be repaid tenfold into society.  The truth is though, it means so much to us, there are no words for what this grant means to my son, and our family, even relatively speaking.”
